JoAnn O'Hare

An academic background in design and printmaking provides structure for my art. Photography is an implementation of personal expression which allows images to emerge as bold statements

I applaud the daring strength of color awash in the natural landscape. In contrast I see abstract design emerge from the urban landscape often nearby in the pockets of decay rich in texture and contrast. The everyday commonplace becomes a mystery open for exploration. An inquisitive photographer at heart,   I believe imagery does reveal a story as each photograph is created with sublime intent and substance
